New Moon Blues

“At the end of the day faith is a funny thing.
It turns up when you don’t really expect it.
It’s like one day you realize that the fairy tale
may be slightly different than you dreamed.
The castle, well, it may not be a castle.
And it’s not so important happy ever after,
just that its happy right now.
See once in a while, once in a blue moon,
people will surprise you, and once in a while
people may even take your breath away.”

Meredith Grey

Fields of Freedom

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,

the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”
doesn’t make any sense.”
Rumi

Simply Bee

“Give up defining yourself –
to yourself or to others.
You won’t die.
You will come to life.
And don’t be concerned
with how others define you.
When they define you,
they are limiting themselves,
so it’s their problem.
Whenever you interact with people,
don’t be there primarily as a function or a role,
but as the field of conscious Presence.
You can only lose something that you have,
but you cannot lose something that you are.”
Eckhart Tolle

Gorge-ous Light Shine

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Marianne Williamson

Strength of Inner Peace

“What lies behind us and
what lies before us are tiny matters
compared to what lies within us.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

AJOITE

Scientific Properties: Ajoite is an attractive copper silicate mineral that is named for its type locality in the Ajo District of Pima County, Arizona. It is a secondary mineral that forms from the oxidation of other secondary copper minerals. Ajoite forms excellent microcrystal specimens. The small prismatic crystals are often arranged in tufts with an almost aquamarine-like blue green color. It is associated with other rare and colorful minerals such as shattuckite, copper, papagoite and plancheite; which makes specimens even more attractive. The color variety in a single multi-mineral specimen is sometimes surreal. Massive samples of ajoite are also unique and are sometimes carved or tumbled and can be used as an ornamental stone. Ajoite’s classification as a phyllosilicate is questionable as its true structure is as yet unknown. More Facts

Mystical Properties: Traditionally Ajoite is a stone of peace and harmony. It can help release and overcome sorrow, anger, fear, and heal old emotional wounds. Ajoite also helps connect to the Higher Self and God/Universe/Goddess/All That Is. It is excellent for meditation, and can remove and release negative energies from the physical, emotional, and ethereal bodies. It acts as a stone of transformation, bringing change and growth in a spirit of love. More Properties

Blessing Rain

“Soften my heart,
O God of living waters,
that the shower of Scripture
I am about to read
may enrich the soil of my soul.

Rain down your wisdom
in sacred streams
to carry me like an upturned leaf
through the currents of this gray day.
Amen.”

Rocky Dependence

“A true friend knows your weaknesses
but shows you your strengths;
feels your fears but fortifies your faith;
sees your anxieties but frees your spirit;
recognizes your disabilities
but emphasizes your possibilities.”

William Arthur Ward
