Gotcha?

The look in this meerkat’s eyes always piques my curiosity… is it surprise, fear, indignation, curiosity, or playfulness?

I never know, I just figure it’s always best to…

“Be curious, not judgmental.”

Walt Whitman

By the Soul’s Light

“There is one spectacle grander than the sea,
that is the sky;
there is one spectacle grander than the sky,
that is the interior of the soul.”
Victor Hugo

Impressive

“Forests, lakes, and rivers, clouds and
winds, stars and flowers,
stupendous glaciers and crystal snowflakes –
every form of animate or inanimate existence,
leaves its impress upon the soul of man.”
Orison Swett Marden

Angelic Despair

“Flowers have spoken to me more than
I can tell in written words.
They are the hieroglyphics of angels,
loved by all men for the beauty of their character,
though few can decipher even fragments of their meaning.”

Lydia M. Child

Two of A Kind

“Kindness in words creates confidence.
Kindness in thinking creates profoundness.
Kindness in giving creates love.”
Lao Tzu

Be Kind

And for those wondering what kind of stone is displayed, this photo captures two different shades of the same calcium rich heulandite mined from the Rat’s Nest Claim in Idaho, more info at this link. They formed together, in close proximity, yet their trace minerals made them distinctly different in color. Depending on the device/screen you view the photo with, you may, or may not, be able to see one is a milky white shade and the other is slightly pink.

Fresh Start

“The curious paradox is that
when I accept myself just as I am,
then I can change.”
Carl Rogers

On The Wings of A Tiger

“The most difficult thing is the decision to act,

The fears are paper tigers.
You can do anything you decide to do.
You can act to change and control your life;
and the procedure, the process is its own reward.”
Amelia Earhart

Perfect Curliness

“Nature will bear the closest inspection.
She invites us to lay our eye level with
her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain.”

Henry David Thoreau

Timeless Fractal

“As you continue to send out love,
the energy returns to you in a regenerating spiral…
As love accumulates, it keeps your system in
balance and harmony. Love is the tool,
and more love is the end product.”

Sara Paddison

Probability of Love

“All these things shall love do unto you
that you may know the secrets of your heart.”

Rumi

There comes a point in one’s life when you begin to doubt the probability of love, when you see your broken heart and/or self and the games of chance as a burden… a time when you are just done with them. And that’s the precise moment you find the key to set them free…
